Thank you for looking into our donation page!

Donations help cover a range of our conservation needs from:

Nesting box materials for penguins and other native birds
Penguin Rehabilitation, Penguin food, Transport costs to the vet,
Rehabilitation facility maintenance.
Predator control, Materials and maintenance, Trappers wage.
Reforestation of Pōhatu's covenants, Protected zones, Planting trees and track building.
Research projects.
Staff training, e.g. Trapping workshops, Penguin symposium, Rehabilitation workshops.
Education for school groups.

Please be aware if you are wanting to gift for birthdays or Christmas we do need time to make the name for the nesting boxes and snail mail can take time, best to give us at least 3 weeks to send this to you if within New Zealand. For overseas, we recommend you to purchase your penguin adoption at least a month in advance.

Your adoption lasts for one year
You will be sent a reminder a month prior to the expiration.
You're symbolically adopting one penguin. The name you choose is for one penguin in the nesting box. Please no more than 20 characters. There is a pair per nesting box so 2 names might be displayed on the box, one per penguin.
