Pōhatu, on the south eastern corner of Banks peninsula near Christchurch, is the perfect place to make some memories and disconnect - literally disconnect - as there is no cell phone reception.
At Pōhatu we also wish to conserve rare breeds sheep. These include Arapawa, Long Wool Lincoln, Coloured Romneys, Southdown Baby Doll and the beautiful and insanely cute Valais Blacknose sheep. Each one of these breeds have special qualities worth preserving.
We are breeding them all to help saving them and every year have a limited amount of lambs, rams and ewes for sell.
"Blown away. Was such a great day. Worth every penny. We seen so much wildlife, this is definitely a hidden gem in New Zealand. The guides were very knowledgeable, and added to the overall experience."
