When Sophie was 7, she won an education scholarship. She was asked to describe what she wanted to do when she grew up and how she would use the funds if she were to win.
Sophie drew a collection of animals and said she would like to help endangered species. If she won, she would use half of the funds for art classes and the other half to make some artwork to sell and raise money for charity.
well, Sophie did just that. 25% of the profits go to Christchurch Penguin Rehabilitation. Another 25% goes towards Sophie's education, funding extra resources or lessons to advance her learning. The rest is re-invested to make more art work.
