Our funders and partners

To continue our work in Kororā kaitiakitanga - Little penguin conservation, we couldn't do it without community support. Team work makes the dream work!  
Without our partners, funders, all the amazing donations from our adopt a penguin program, and people coming on Pōhatu penguins eco-tours - this work would be so much harder.

Thank you all from the bottom our our hearts, for the faith you have in us - to work with, protect and enhance our incredible native biodiversity... and especially the Kororā, Canterbury's unique colour morph - The White-flippered penguin.

One day we will see them abundant again as our Little blue neighbours all around the coasts of Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū/ Banks Peninsula.

To celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the Akaroa marine reserve and the 25th year anniversary of the Pōhatu marine reserve, key stakeholders gathered on the 10th of March during Sea-week 2024 to commemorate these achievements for New Zealand marine wildlife.
